Your book, written in your voice
Book Ghostwriting
You have the story, the expertise, or the idea. What you do not have is three hundred unbroken hours and the craft to shape it. That is the entire job of a ghostwriter.
The approach
A ghostwriter is not a typist. They are a structural engineer for your story.
The difference between a manuscript that reads well and one that reads like a transcript is structure. Our writers spend the first two weeks not writing at all — they interview you, map the arc, and decide what the book is actually about, which is often not what you first said it was.
Only then does drafting begin. You receive chapters weekly, each built from recorded conversations, so what arrives sounds like you on your most articulate day.
What is included
- A writer matched to your genre, not whoever is free
- Structured interview programme, recorded and transcribed
- Chapter-by-chapter outline approved before drafting
- A voice sample written before you commit to the full book
- Two full revision rounds per chapter
- NDA signed by every person who touches the manuscript
- You are credited as sole author; we are never named
The process
How this
actually runs.
Five stages, each gated by your approval. You will always know what happens next and what it costs.
Start the conversationDiscovery call
Thirty minutes to establish what the book is, who reads it, and whether we are the right house. We turn down projects that are not a fit.
Writer matching
We put forward one or two writers with relevant published work. You read samples and choose.
Outline and voice test
A chapter plan plus one sample passage in your voice. This is the checkpoint where mismatches surface cheaply.
Interviews and drafting
Weekly recorded sessions feed weekly chapter deliveries. You comment inline, your writer revises.
Full manuscript handover
A complete, revised manuscript ready for the editorial stage — yours to take anywhere.
Questions
The things
authors ask first.
If your question is not here, ask it on the consultation call — we would rather answer it before you commit than after.
That is the whole measure of the job. Before any full chapter is written, your writer drafts a sample passage from your interviews. If it does not sound like you, we revise it or change writers — at no cost — before the main drafting begins.
Yes. You are the sole named author. Our writers sign work-for-hire agreements and are contractually barred from claiming credit or discussing the project.
Expect one 60–90 minute recorded interview per week during drafting, plus a few hours reading and commenting on chapters. Most clients spend three to four hours a week.
Bring it. We regularly take a half-finished manuscript or a pile of blog posts and build from there — it usually shortens the timeline and the quote.
You do, entirely and from the first word. The copyright, the ISBN, the retail listings and every cent of royalty income are yours.
